On Thursday 10th June, a formal meeting (oral evidence session) was held by Government about EU visa arrangements for creative workers. Tamara Cincik, Fashion Roundtable's Founder and CEO, outlined the challenges of working within the EU following the post-Brexit trade deal at this session hosted by the DCMS Select Committee.

Right now, the DCMS Committee is considering what barriers remain to cultural exchange between the UK and EU, the effectiveness of the Government’s work to address concerns raised by the creative industries, and what action is necessary to find solutions. Thursday’s session also heard from agent and promoter Craig Stanley and BECTU union leader Noel McClean on the impact of the trade deal on touring and live events, with some member states requiring visas or work permits.
