The Great British Wool Revival, consultancy, events, press releases and much more!

Did you know that the price for wool is the highest in 7 years!

About Us

Acting as a hub for sharing knowledge and resources, The Great British Wool Revival has been developed to support our collective ambition to see British wool, grown on our hills and valleys, taking pride of place in our wardrobes.

In 6 months, we have seen over 200 brands and businesses join the map and “The King’s Clip” scarf, which used wool from Dumfries House sold out in under 48 hours! We are delighted that this initiative celebrates decades of British heritage, provenance and legacy by reinstating the true value and worth of British wool – making it more accessible to all.

Designer Spotlight: Phoebe English joins our map

The fantastic Phoebe English and LAVENHAM COLLABORATION uses heritage British wool as its source for wadding. The Great British Wool Revival aims to celebrate this incredible fibre and make it more accessible to designers and makers in the British Isles. Phoebe’s work is a great example of this.
