Amy Powney from AKYN talks about her "Hero" Trench

Yesterday, I attended the showcase of Amy Powney’s new brand Akyn. Due to travel and diary conflicts I was sadly unable to attend a recent dinner she hosted for women who love to debate - which clearly I do(!), so I wanted to see her and the new collection close up. Hosted at the Tank magazine offices in Fitzrovia. It is a beautiful collection of muted natural fibres and tones, think pieces which speak of quiet luxury in black, white and taupe. All consciously made and ethically produced.

Here Amy talks about my favourite piece in the collection, a trench coat made from wool and linen.
