3 Policy Asks from Leicester Made & We Re-launch our Creative Wellbeing Economy Report for 2025
This week our CEO spoke on a panel at Leicester Made – the event run by Jenny Holloway which looked to redefine Leicester as a hub for ethical innovation, inclusivity and creative entrepreneurship.
Leicester is at the heart of textiles and garment making in the UK, and has a diverse mix of talented and ethically minded businesses. Through her social enterprise Fashion Enter, Jenny Holloway has for years led the way through ethical manufacturing practices, prioritising fair treatment, skilled craftsmanship, and sustainable practices.
Tamara was also part of an invite-only roundtable chaired by Liz Kendall MP. The discussion aimed to cover Leicester’s potential as a manufacturing hub of talent and opportunity; the ultimate goal of creating long-lasting connections which lead to meaningful economic and social impact; as well as the role of the government in supporting ‘Made in the UK’ initiatives and businesses.
