Our Head of Sustainability and Regeneration Policy, Meg Pirie will speak with Professor Daisy Fancourt on her years of research, culminating in her book, Art Cure. Daisy Fancourt is a Professor of Psychobiology and Epidemiology at UCL and has published over 300 scientific papers on how participation in art and culture can improve health.

Tune in to find out more about real-world examples of arts participation impact, how younger generations are affected by our lack of a STEAM education system, more on ‘arts prescriptions’ which fall under the social prescribing umbrella, how we might include more arts in our day-to-day lives, and what short and long-term policies the Government might implement moving forward?
