Burnham Enters No. 10: What It Means for Fashion & Textiles

Yesterday, Prime Minister Andy Burnham delivered his first speech outside No 10 Downing Street. Earlier this month, we set out how his ‘People’s History Museum’ speech and its centrepiece proposal, ‘Number 10 North’ aligned with Fashion Roundtable’s agenda. His words outside Downing Street yesterday reinforced the same themes: decentralisation, reindustrialisation and public procurement, and rebalancing power away from Whitehall and towards the regions.
